Nagesh Kukunoor’s “Aashayein”, the newest film out of Bollywood dealing with death and fatalism opened last week here in New York. The film, starring John Abraham, was reviewed here in the New York Times. We haven’t heard any feedback yet, but it does look slightly better than the newest Hollywood retread opening this week, We Are Family, a film loosely based on Stepmom.
