Pakistan’s transgender minority finds its voice

Last week, the Guardian ran a piece, accompanied by a beautiful series of photos, on the “unlikely revolution” currently taking place among Pakistan’s transgender community. Recently, the Supreme Court has issued a series of ground-breaking judgments in favour of the community and hijras from the southern city of Sukkur fielded the country’s first transgender cricket team.
