NYC June Pride Events
Here’s a round-up of our top happenings during the queerest month of the year:

Sholay Desi-Queer Pride on the Pier
Friday, June 28 • 7PM – Midnight
Mark your calendars for our massive NYC Pride Weekend kick-off bash as we dance under the stars in downtown Manhattan! By popular demand, we’re taking the party to premium outdoor hotspot Cobble Fish, right on Pier 16 at South Street Seaport. Music by Ashu Rai. Brooklyn Pride
Saturday June 8 starting at 11AM
The 28th Annual Brooklyn Pride Multicultural Festival, spanning from Union Street to 9th Street on 5th Avenue starts at 11AM followed by Main Stage performances and culminating in the Twilight Parade from 7:30PM -10PM at Fifth Ave from Lincoln Place to 8th Street.  Join SALGA-NYC (gathering near Lincoln Place and 5th Ave by 6PM) as they march in solidarity with the people of Palestine. Night of 1000 Rekhas
Saturday, June 15 at 10PM
The Yuva crew is bringing you non-stop fun, dancing, and drag show at Red Eye NY (355 W 41st). Featuring performances by the incomparable Malai, who will be joined by Tamasha Bhosle and Kulfi Jaan. Music by DJs Dynamite and Yushiii. For updates and details, follow @gaysiworld

NYC Dyke March
Saturday, June 29 at 5PM
Thousands of Dykes take the streets each year in celebration of beautiful and diverse Dyke lives. Any person who identifies as a Dyke is welcome to march regardless of gender expression or identity, sex assigned at birth, sexual orientation, race, age, political affiliation, religious identity, ability, class, or immigration status. The march steps from Bryant Park in Manhattan at 5PM. More details here.

Queer Liberation March
Sunday, June 30 at 11AM
Calling all Black, Brown, Queer, Trans, Gender Nonconforming & Nonbinary communities and individuals against war and genocide! 
The Reclaim Pride Coalition is the grassroots collective that has organized the Queer Liberation March in New York City every June since 2019. They seek to honor and reclaim the spirit of the Stonewall Riots, centering and amplifying the voices and needs of marginalized Queer communities. Meet up at Sheridan Square in the West Village at 11AM and march to Battery Park at 11:30AM. Find out more here

Color Me Queer
Sunday, June 30 at 6PM
Join SALGA-NYC, Caribbean Equality Project, GAPIMNY, TARAB NYC, Q-Wave NYC  for this multi-story (fundraiser) dance party for Queer & Trans BIPOC communities at The Delancey at 168 Delancey Street in the Lower East Side. Silent Disco | India Week with Ashu Rai 

As part of Lincoln Center’s Summer in the City series, DJ Rekha will be curating a week of Silent Discos for India Week July 10-14 with Ashu spinning her Desilicious sounds outdoors on July 12th. Free admission. Follow @ashurai_ny on Instagram for follow-ups. Additional details here

Dragistan
Friday, July 26th at 9PM
DRAGISTAN celebrates South Asian drag in all its forms, genders, and styles. Last year was the debut of DRAGISTAN on Fire Island. This year, LaWhore Vagistan collaborates with Sholay Events to stage DRAGISTAN in Brooklyn. Join us for a night of dancing with Ashu Rai, performances by 20 desi drag artists, and a celebration of one of New York’s most iconic performers, Bijli. Join us at 3 Dollar Bill (260 Meserole Street, Brooklyn), doors at 9pm, show at 10. Tickets available beginning next week.
