Benefit for CCR with Red Baarat

Save the date for Thursday, Jan 28th – where I’ll be spinning with Red Baaraat for a fundraiser for Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR). Founded in 1966, CCR has represented a wide range of civil rights cases over the years and is currently working on an upcoming Supreme Court case which aims to close down Guantánamo and restore habeas corpus.

The event will feature Red Baaraat, the first and only dhol ‘n’ brass band which combines Bhangra with brass funk, performing original tracks and some Bhangra, along with traditional Punjabi songs and Bollywood.
