Remembering the Indus – Pakistan Relief Fundraiser on Aug 29th

With all of the Ground Zero mosque debates and the horrendous incidents recently in New York City, the plight of Pakistanis affected by the catastrophic floods must not be forgotten. If you are in New York City this weekend, we recommend you attend Remembering the Indus – Pakistan Relief Fundraiser at the Gershwin Hotel at 7 East 27th Street on Sunday, August 29 from 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm.

The evening will feature a Silent Art Auction with donated work by renowned, established and emerging artists: Zarina Hashmi, Krishna Reddy, Judy Reddy, Vijay Kumar, Kathryn Myers, Iqbal Hussain, Abid Hasan Tayyeb Munawar, Nahid Raza, Amina Ahmed, Asma Shikoh, Ruby Chishti, Satyakam Saha, Ali Akbar, Fareen Butt, Maureen Drdak, Paul Davies, Karen Zilly, Abrar Ahmed, and more. There will also be performances by musicians, writers, poets – Amir Parsa, Lola Koundakjian, Jawad Bin Saleem, Sarah Husain, & Zohra Saed. Proceeds will benefit TCF, The Citizens Foundation.
