Vigil This Evening in Remembrance of Wisconsin Sikh Gurdwara massacre
We have been horrified and saddened by the events from this past Sunday. Our thoughts and prayers are with our Sikh brothers and sisters and we offer our deepest condolences to those who’ve lost loved ones. In the shadow of this hateful act, it has been heartening to witness the outpouring of support from around the world during these past few days.
A vigil will be held this evening at Union Square in remembrance of the victims and their families of the Oak Creek, Wisconsin Sikh Gurdwara massacre and for those still in recovery.This event is organized by the local Sikh community on Wednesday, August 8th at 7:30pm at the Union Square(North Plaza) in New York. NO Wax Candles (we will use electronic ones)
NO Food (Bottled water is alright)
