March 8th – Freedom. Safety. NOW. 2.0 in New York City

Be sure to take part in the Freedom! Safety! NOW! creative action organized by SAWCC on March 8th as part of a larger march and rally focusing on sexual/gender-based violence as a global problem. The march and rally is being held on March 8th to coincide with the UN Commission on the Status of Women, and is being coordinated by the Center for Women’s Global Leadership, Association for Women’s Rights in Development, United Methodist Women, and the Women & Global Migration Working Group. 10:00am: Gather at First Ave & 42nd Street
10:30am: Walk to Dag Hammarskjold Plaza (walk across 42nd Street to Third Ave | Up to 47th St | Back across 47th Street to First Ave)
11:15am: Rally (including performance of Freedom! Safety! NOW! 2.0)
