An Evening in Gay Maharashtra is a fun song that is sexy, hip and hot!

The original composer was a Parsi gentleman called Mina Kava and the singer was Miss Parveen Vachha. The song has a sixties flavor, when the word gay still meant ‘Bright and pleasant or promoting a feeling of cheer’. Of course now “gay” is a power word for the LGBTQ community. This song was recently revived by Suman Sridhar as a new anthem to the anti-377 sentiment that is sweeping India. Politicians, Bollywood stars, models, actors are all speaking out against 377.
