SAWCC’s 3rd Annual Art Auction

Now’s your chance to own an original work of art from a list of talented South Asian artists, with SAWCC’S 3rd Annual Art Auction Benefit. The event takes place on Tuesday, November 3rd at The Guild Art Gallery, 45 W. 21st street, and will feature works by Rina Banerjee, Jaishri Abichandani, Naeem Mohaiemen, Chitra Ganesh and Annu P. Matthew, whose piece is pictured in this posting . The cocktail reception begins at 6:30 pm, with a silent auction at 8:30 pm. Afterwards, there will be an after-party with DJ Rekha at Elmo’s on 7th Avenue.

If you buy tickets in advance, they are $35, or $50 at the door. Advance tickets can also be purchased via PayPal. Come out and support a great organization and purchase and original work, before these artist become famous and too pricey for your budget (if they haven’t already)!
